Dr. Celedon is a San Diego native and completed his undergraduate degree at UC San Diego. He obtained his M.D. from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He specializes in Emergency Medicine and trained at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is committed to medical education and authored a chapter for the USMLE review book, Crush Step 1 and is a senior editor of WikEM.org.
Dr. Salama is a recent East Coast transplant to LA. She received her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Louis University of Medicine and Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA. Marina lives in Santa Monica with her wonderful husband and has a passion for international medicine.
Dr. Malkin received his B.S. from Yeshiva University and then went on to Tufts University where he completed medical school while getting his MBA from Brandeis. Dr. Malkin then moved to sunny Los Angeles for his family medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Harvard University, Dr. Cheema went on to the University of Michigan Medical School. After enough winters Dr. Cheema decided to move to sunny Los Angeles where she specializes in Pediatrics at UCLA.
Faysal Saab is a physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He has lived in Southern California for over 20 years, spending 12 of those years in Los Angeles during which time he attended UCLA for his undergraduate education, medical school, and residency training. He is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based medical care to his patients. In addition to being a doctor, he is one of the lead singers of the UCLA Department of Medicine Band.
Dr. Seligmann attended SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn for Medical School, and then came out to sunny Los Angeles for his internship and residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). In the years since completing residency, Dr. Marshall has continued his practice in a variety of roles, including as a Pediatric Emergency Transport Physician, Neonatal Hospitalist, General Pediatrician, and Pediatric Urgent Care Physician.
Dr. Chan attended Case Western Reserve University for both his undergraduate and medical degree. He then traveled west to sunny California for his Internal Medicine residency program at UCLA where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Chan is currently a fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care at an area hospital in addition to being a Heal doctor.
Dr. Uberoi attended UC San Diego before completing her medical and graduate degrees at the University of Illinois. She completed her Pediatric training at UCLA’s Mattel Children’s Hospital. Pavni will continue her training as fellow of Neonatology at Children’s Hospital LA/USC.
Dr. Keilani graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience. He completed his medical education at Rosalind Franklin University and is currently the Chief Resident at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Keilani was inspired to be a pediatrician by George Clooney’s character in the TV show ER.
Dr. Lajoie graduated from Princeton University and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She then completed her residency at the University of Washington and is now completing her fellowship in cardiology in Los Angeles.
Dr. De. graduated with honors from Stanford University and with distinction from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. De has consulted for many television shows, and her favorite project was developing the story for the "household cleaner poisoning" episode of The Ghost Whisperer.
Dr. Uberoi is a San Francisco native who went to UC San Diego for his undergraduate and graduate level education. He then worked as an EMT in South Central LA before attending medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Manu then returned to California for his residency at Stanford University and is now training in cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Chien attended UCLA before graduating from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She then moved back to sunny Southern California for her Pediatric Residency at UCLA. In Dr. Chien’s spare time she enjoys interior decorating, flea market shopping and practicing yoga.
After finishing his undergraduate studies at UC Irvine, Dr. Chawla completed his medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Chawla completed his residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and is currently a Physician Advisor for the CHLA Hospitalist Division.
Dr. Orkin was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California, her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and finally moved back home for her Pediatric Residency at UCLA. Her interest in medicine began at a young age, when her pediatrician grandfather would tell her stories of the house calls he used to make in his early years practicing medicine.
Dr. Larson is board certified in pediatrics. He currently works for Children's Hospital Los Angeles as a general pediatrician. He completed his BA in Economics at Lewis & Clark College, his MD at SUNY Downstate, and his residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He is married with a 6 year old daughter.
Dr. Patel earned a degree in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and his medical degree from University of Illinois. After medical school, he served as an officer and physician in the United States Navy. He completed an internship in General Surgery and was deployed to Afghanistan twice as a General Medical Officer in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon completion of his military service, he returned to Southern California to complete a Family Medicine Residency at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills where he continues to pursue his passion for caring for people of all ages.
Emily Bruckner is a pediatrician from Sherman Oaks, CA. As the daughter, niece, and sister of pediatricians, taking care of children and families has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember, and she couldn't be more proud to be following in the family footsteps. Dr. Bruckner received her BS in Psychology from Duke University and her MD from UCLA School of Medicine, then completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
